Tom Horey joined DePaul in 2014 to lead its accounting department, and has more than 30 years of executive and financial management experience.
Tom has demonstrated success in areas like financial management, strategic planning and debt acquisition in a variety of industries. Tom also has significant entrepreneurial experience, having founded and run two start-up companies.
Tom spent 15 years as CFO of Plaid Pantries, a retail company with 102 locations, 800 employees and $120 million in annual revenue. He also founded and organized Oregon Acres, a wholesale nursery company with locations in Oregon and Utah. Tom holds an MBA from the University of Utah. He was named the Portland Business Journal's Nonprofit CFO of the Year in 2018.
