DePaul Industries runs a variety of successful businesses, but we also have an important social mission: to identify and create job opportunities for people with employment barriers. 

Now that our Fiscal Year 2018 is in the books, we wanted to share our impact.

Attention Staffing Firms: EEOC to Focus on Eliminating Hiring Barriers

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, or EEOC, is a government body responsible for enforcing laws that make it illegal to discriminate against a job applicant or an employee for a multitude of reasons, including a person’s race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age (40 or older), disability or genetic information.

Disability Employment up 25%, Beyond Projections

Our Fiscal Year 2012 numbers are in, and we’ve got some excellent news: our number of hours worked by people with disabilities is up 25% from last year! This increase is beyond even our most optimistic projections, and means that our employees and customers are putting an even bigger dent in the problem of the lack of employment for people with disabilities.
